Kim Hyun Joong seems to be one of the hardest working guys in the business right now - but his career is seriously affecting his health and worrying fans!Hyun Joong was rushed to the hospital yesterday morning after collapsing from high fever. Because of this unfortunate incident,
SS501's trip to Thailand to promote their concert tour has been canceled,
while Hyun Joong takes a needed break.

Just like the boys from SM Entertainment, the 5-member boy group from DSP Entertainment, SS501 will also be embarking on their 1st concert tour in Asia called Persona. After the release of their 2nd full-length album at the end of July, the boys will begin the first leg of their concert tour in Seoul on 1st August. From there, they will be flying to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, et
etc for their concert tour until the end of the year.
The rough schedule of their concert tour:
1st, 2nd August - Seoul, S. Korea
13th August - Tokyo, Japan
The above are confirmed. The below are pending actual dates.
October - China, Hong Kong, Taiwan
November - Thailand
December - Malaysia, Singapore
It’s been a while since SS501 released a new music video. For the most part of the year, the group was divided with their own individual projects. Pictures from the set of their latest music video has been released and things are looking epic. SS501’s new music video will be a 20-minute drama MV featuring an elaborate story line with Hyunjoong and Kyujong playing assassins.
Kim Hyun Joong has left people around him worried after he seemed to be in misery and suffering from depression recently during work. This apparently happened after Kim Hyun Joong's grandmother suffered complications during her knee surgery last month. His grandmother showed symptoms of paralysis to the whole body during the surgery and although she is currently out of danger, she is unable to rec
recognize anyone else other than Kim Hyun Joong himself.
Hyun Joong had expressed many times during interviews that his grandmother was like a 'mother' to him. He said, "Before I was admitted to school, my grandmother was the one looking after me on behalf of my parents who were busy with work. My grandmother doted on me since I was little and she was more happy than anyone else when she saw that
I had achieved a little success as a singer and in Boys Before Flowers. I was able to endure all the tiring and tough times because of her (grandmother) support." The news that his grandmother was seriously ill after surgery has thus pained Kim Hyun Joong's heart deeply and left him severely drained.
Kim Hyun Joong is not ruling out the possibility of negligence by the doctors in charge which led to his grandmother suffering complications during surgery and will be seeking a thorough inquiry into the surgery procedures. If it was found to be negligence that resulted in Hyun Joong's grandmother health being worsened, Hyun Joong is likely to file for legal action for his grandmother.
Kim Hyun Joong's grandmother has now been transferred to another medical facility in Gyeonggi-do for further treatment and Hyun Joong will always head over to look after his grandmother if his schedule permits. He can't do that for the time being though as he is currently with SS501 for promotions in Hawaii and will only be back on 4th June.
Goo Hye Sun chooses XiaoGui over Xiaozhu. Even Lee Min Ho also guessed that HyeSun unnie will choose XiaoGui. Reason being that XiaoZhu looked like he has a lot of women around him.

Kim Hyun Joong took the top spot as the male celebrity whom women want to be kissed by. The results came out as 34% wanting to receive a kiss from Kim Hyun Joong followed by a very close 32% wanting to be kissed by Lee Min Ho. This seems to show the lingering popularity of the F4 and the BOF effect. 3rd place was Song Seung Hun with 15%, then Jo In Sung (13%) in 4th place, and 5th place by Lee Seu
